Prof. Bedir Tekinerdogan is a computer scientist with over 30 years of experience in software/systems engineering and information technology. He is currently a full professor and chair of the Information Technology group at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), the Netherlands. He has ample experience in software engineering, systems engineering, product line engineering, cyber-physical systems, data science and artificial intelligence. He is recognized among the World's Top 2% of Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier in career-long and annual rankings. For 2024, he was even ranked in the top 0.15% yearly standings. He has authored over 500 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 12 edited books throughout his career. He has been involved in dozens of national and international research and consultancy projects with various large software companies as a principal researcher and leading software/system architect. His experience spans a broad range of domains, including consumer electronics, enterprise systems, automotive systems, critical infrastructures, cyber-physical systems, satellite systems, defense systems, production line systems, command and control systems, physical protection systems, radar systems, smart metering systems, energy systems, and precision farming. He has developed and taught around 20 academic courses and provided many software/systems engineering courses to more than 50 companies in different countries. He is also an active participant in scientific conferences and has organized more than 50 conferences/workshops on software engineering topics.
Xu Lisheng is a full professor and PhD supervisor of the College of Information Science and Engineering, Northeast University. His research interests include advanced sensing and intelligent perception, artificial intelligence in biomedical signal and image analysis, and computer-aided diagnosis technology. At present, he is the principle investigator of 23 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, doctoral programs of the Ministry of Education and projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province and so on. He has won the honors of "Excellent Master's Instructor in Liaoning Province", "Excellent Postgraduate Supervisor in Shenyang", "One Hundred Thousand High-end Talents Introduction Project" in Liaoning Province, "Thousand Talents Level" in Liaoning Province, and "Top Young Talents" in Liaoning Province. Currently, 219 journal and conference papers have been published, including 158 SCI indexed papers and 50 EI indexed papers; 21 invention patents have been granted. He participated in two international publications, "Heart Rate Variability Prognostic Significance Risk Factors and Clinical Application" and "Blood Pressure - From Bench to Bed". He is associate chief editor of two Chinese monographs, associate chief editor of one textbook of Medical Informatics, and co-editor of one textbook of Clinical Informatics. He is deputy editor of the first round of National Health and Family Planning Commission's "13th Five-Year Plan" teaching material for biomedical engineering major in national colleges and universities (Electronic Industry Press), "Principles and Methods of Comprehensive Intervention for Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation". He is editing the textbook "Medical Signal Processing and Engineering Practice" for the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan"
Dr. Anand Nayyar received Ph.D (Computer Science) from Desh Bhagat University in 2017 in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks, Swarm Intelligence and Network Simulation. He is currently working in School of Computer Science-Duy Tan University, Da Nang, Vietnam as Professor, Scientist, Vice-Chairman (Research) and Director- IoT and Intelligent Systems Lab. A Certified Professional with 250+ Professional certifications from CISCO, Microsoft, Amazon, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle, Google, Beingcert, EXIN, GAQM, Cyberoam and many more. Published more than 200+ Research Papers in various High-Quality ISI-SCI/SCIE/SSCI Impact Factor- Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 Journals cum Scopus/ESCI indexed Journals, 80+ Papers in International Conferences indexed with Springer, IEEE and ACM Digital Library, 60+ Book Chapters in various SCOPUS/WEB OF SCIENCE Indexed Books with Springer, CRC Press, Wiley, IET, Elsevier with Citations: (Google Scholar): 17700+, H-Index: 69 and I-Index: 280; (Scopus): 9500+; H-index: 52. He is currently researching in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Swarm Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Drones, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Healthcare Informatics, Big Data and Wireless Communications.
Dakshina Ranjan Kisku is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India. He received his BCSE, MCSE and Ph.D. (Engineering) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, India. He also obtained MS in Data Science from the University of East London. Dr. Kisku is an active researcher in the areas of biometrics, image processing, computer vision, machine learning and deep learning. He was a Researcher in the Computer Vision Lab at the University of Sassari, Italy, from March 2006 to March 2007. Prior to that, he was a Project Associate in the Biometrics and Computer Vision Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. He was a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Signal Processing Laboratory at Bahcesehir University, Turkey, in 2012. Prior to joining NIT Durgapur, he was working as a faculty member for several years at Asansol Engineering College, India and Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, India. Dr. Kisku has more than 140 scientific publications to his credit published in refereed conferences, journals and edited books. He has co-authored and edited three books on biometrics and homeland security and one book on medical biometrics. He has published two patents in the area of Public Healthcare. He is a recipient of IEI Young Engineers Award, IEI Excellence Award, Outstanding Scientist Award, Outstanding Reviewers Awards, EARG Award, IEEE Travel Award, IAPR/IEEE Endorsement Scholarship, MIUR Research Fellowship, TUBITAK PDF Fellowship, Visvesvaraya Fellowship, and many other accolades. Dr. Kisku is a Fellow of RSPH, UK, Fellow of IEI, and Senior Member of IEEE (USA). He is a Chartered Engineer (I) of the The Institution of Engineers (India). He is a Principle Member of LITD 32 Biometrics Sectional Committee under BIS and also serves as an External Expert member of ISO. He regularly serves as a member of the technical committee for many conferences and also as a reviewer for many refereed journals, conferences, and books.
