Jaime Lloret Maurr holds Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering and is currently Full Professor in the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. His main research has been focused on designing and developing network protocols and algorithms, especially on group-based topologies. These designs have been used in many environments including P2P networks, Ad-hoc and Sensor networks, Grids, Content Distribution Networks, Multimedia and Security. He has been involved in several local, national and international research projects, and has authored or co-authored more than 500 papers in international journals and more than 100 scientific papers in national and international conferences. He has been the author 2 research books, co-authored 4 patents and he has participated in 34 chapters of research books. He is the editor in chief of the international journal “Network Protocols and Algorithms” (ISSN: 1943-3581), “Ad Hoc & Sensor Wireless Networks” (Print ISSN: 1551-9899, online ISSN: 1552-0633), (JCR ISI Thomson), and the “International Journal of Multimedia Communications” (print ISSN: 2378-6507, online ISSN: 2378-6515). Moreover, he is advisory board member of the “International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks” (with ISI Thomson Impact factor), and he is IARIA Journals Board Chair (8 Journals). He has been a guest editor of several international journals and he is (or has been) associate editor or editorial board member of 46 international journals (most of them included in ISI Thomson journal list with JCR). He has been the co-editor of 34 conference proceedings and co-editor in 11 research books. He is IEEE Senior, ACM Senior, IARIA Fellow and EAI Fellow.
