Prof. Bedir Tekinerdogan is a computer scientist with over 25 years of experience in software/systems engineering and information technology. He earned both his MSc degree (1994) and a PhD degree (2000) in Computer Science from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. He is currently a full professor and chair of the Information Technology group at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), the Netherlands. He has ample experience in software engineering, systems engineering, product line engineering, cyber-physical systems, data science and artificial intelligence and is the author of more than 500 peer-reviewed papers, which brings him 50 of H-index. Dr. Tekinerdogan also serves as the reviewer for several journals related to computer science, systems engineering, data science and AI. In addition to his research, he is an active educator. He has developed and taught more than 20 different academic courses and provided many software/systems engineering courses to more than 50 companies in various countries in the world. Prof. Tekinerdogan is also an active participant in scientific conferences and has organized more than 50 conferences/workshops on software engineering topics.
