Dr. Muhammad Shahid Iqbal Malik is a faculty member at HITEC University, Taxila, Pakistan, with over 21 years of experience in both industry and academia. He started his career in 2002 as an Embedded Systems Software Engineer in the HVAC industry, where he worked for 12 years. In 2015, he transitioned to academia, earning a Doctoral degree in Data Mining in 2018. Dr. Malik also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Research University HSE in Moscow, Russia. He has published over 26 papers in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, with research interests in Data Mining, Social Media Mining, Natural Language Processing, and Social Computing.
