Talk Title: EWMA: An Adaptive Thresholding Framework for Autoencoder-Based Concept Drift Detection in Data Streams

Dr. Siti Nurulain Mohd Rum is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), with nearly 20 years of combined experience in IT industry practice and university teaching-research. She holds a Diploma in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), a Bachelor of Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and a Master’s and PhD in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Malaya (UM), boasting a solid and comprehensive academic background. Her core research focuses on data science, database systems, intelligent systems and information systems, with in-depth exploration of data stream query processing, machine learning, and the application of artificial intelligence in medical diagnosis, social media analysis, traffic prediction and other scenarios, forming a research feature of "theoretical innovation + technological transformation". She has published 43 academic outputs in total, including 25 Scopus/JCR-indexed journal papers covering cutting-edge directions such as blockchain-based carbon credit, AI-powered tuberculosis detection, and uncertain data stream processing. She has won multiple honors including the Best Paper Presentation Award at the Malaysia National Cloud Conference and the Silver Medal at the Invention, Innovation & Design Exposition. Having led or participated in numerous technology R&D and educational innovation projects, she enjoys extensive academic influence in the field of computer science with her rich practical experience and interdisciplinary research perspective.
