Dr. Antonio Ramírez de Arellano Marrero /Assistant Professor

Dr. Antonio Ramírez de Arellano Marrero is the Assistant Professor at the University of Seville and former Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoc fellow at the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence “Mihai Draganescu” in Romania. His primary research interests focus on the theory and applications of bioinspired computing models, with special emphasis on artificial intelligence, formal methods and computational complexity theory. He has experience in developing computing paradigms inspired by viruses and neurons to explore new frontiers in computational efficiency and computability, as well as creating and enhancing state-of-the-art deep learning models to address image processing, time series prediction and sequence recommendation. He authored over 35 papers on these topics, cited in over 250 publications.
