Talk Title: Optimizing 2SAT Logical Problem Resolution through Metaheuristic-Driven Hybrid Models of Fuzzy Logic
Dr. Saratha Sathasivam is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Science in Mathematics from USM, and a PhD in Physics from the University of Malaya. With long-standing dedication to artificial intelligence, computational mathematics, data mining, and neural networks, she has achieved remarkable accomplishments particularly in neuro-symbolic integration, logic programming, and numerical solutions for fractional differential equations. She has led or participated in dozens of international, national, and university-level research grants and fund projects, publishing over 200 academic papers, conference proceedings, and book chapters—many of which appear in Q1/Q2 top-tier journals. Her H-index ranges from 17 to 26 across different databases, and she holds more than 30 copyright achievements. She has been honored with numerous international and national academic awards, including being named a "Top 2% of World's Scientists" by Stanford University and an International Distinguished Women Scientist in Neural Networks. In terms of teaching, she instructs multiple undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses, supervising dozens of PhD and master’s students to successful graduation. Additionally, she serves as an editorial board member and guest editor for several international journals, is frequently invited to deliver keynote speeches at international conferences, and holds memberships in various academic organizations such as the International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation. She actively engages in academic review and international cooperation, making significant contributions to the academic development and talent cultivation in related fields.
