Yanying Mao is currently a visiting PhD student in Digital Humanities at the University of Bern and is pursuing a Doctor of Engineering degree in Management Science and Engineering at the National University of Defense Technology, with educational backgrounds including a Master of Engineering from the same university. Her research focuses on generation tasks of dialogue system, emotional analysis in text, and knowledge graph completion and dynamic prediction. She has achieved remarkable research outcomes, such as publishing several first-author papers in journals like Big Data Cogn. Comput., Appl Intell, and Mathematics, as well as presenting research at international conferences. She holds ten invention patents (some under review). As the project leader of the Hunan Graduate Research Innovation Project themed on "Research on the generation model of emotional dialogue based on deep learning," she also participated as a main member in the National Natural Science Foundation of China project concerning personalized query automatic completion. Throughout her academic journey, she has been honored with numerous scholarships and awards, including first-class postgraduate and doctoral scholarships at the National University of Defense Technology, the National Endeavor Fellowship, and the Science and Technology Innovation Scholarship at Dalian University of Technology, demonstrating outstanding academic potential and research capabilities in her field.
